Digitizationblog at 6 months

April 14 marks digitizationblog's sixth month. Some statistics (caveat lector) from my web host's AWStats summary: from April 1 - 12, the digitizationblog home page was viewed 392 times (or about 33 times/day) excluding robots/indexers/etc., and the RSS feed was viewed (eaten?) 3561 times (that's about 300 times/day).

Also, Bloglines reports that 72 of its users subscribe to digitizationblog.

Not bad usage for a blog on a rather nerdy topic, but I really encourage more people to post items. Having other people post would certainly add some variety!

Not that it adds much to

Not that it adds much to your numbers at this point, but you can add six more Bloglines subscribers. I read your post through a Bloglines sub to the Atom feed, to which Bloglines says there are just 6 subscribers. The 72 subscribers you saw are Bloglines subscribers to the RSS feed. Since Bloglines apparently counts subscribers per feed rather than per blog, when your blog has multiple feeds you can add the numbers.
