I'm starting to put some thoughts together in prep for writing a simple, general purpose digital library content management system (DLCMS) based on Drupal. Last week on drupalib I posted the PHP code (at someone's request) for my simple page turner and asked for comments. This page turner is only a prototype; what I have in mind would inherit all the neat things that Drupal has to offer (role management, category/taxonomy support, user commenting, etc.) and would provide flexible metadata and document display functionality. Any comments on the page turner prototype would be appreciated -- this example shows it in action.

I hope to demonstrate a version of this DLCMS at the Access 2006 Conference in October.
