This is the official plug: I am writing a book titled Putting Content Online: A Practical Guide for Libraries for Chandos Publishing. As the Chandos blurb states, the book is supposed to be out one year from now.

I don't intend on blogging the book (will be too busy writing it) but my take on it at this point in time is that it 1) will be practical, as plainly stated in the title and 2) will not be limited to "digital imaging", as so many other titles written for a library audience are. Similarly, it will not be limited to digitization since more and more material is born or received by libraries already digital. I'm hoping to be able to provide enough of the big picture and the necessary details involved in putting an organized collection of documents/objects up on the web that someone who is planning on producing a digital collection, or writing a proposal to do one, will be able to pick this book up and after reading it either say "Yeah, we can do this" or "Maybe we better not do this."
