AudioSlicer is a utility for Mac OS X that finds all silences in an audio file and allows you to split it into several smaller audio files and to name/tag them properly. There are other utilities that split audio files on pauses, but AudioSlicer allows you to adjust the length of the duration to split on. MP3 is the only supported format currently but others are planned.
