easyTAG

easyTAG is a Linux tag editor for MP3, MP2, FLAC, Ogg Vorbis, and other audio formats. The program has several features for batch processing: it can parse filenames and directories to populate fields, and it can rename files and directories using the values in tags or from an external text file. EasyTAG is available in 18 European languages.

Copyfraud

It is common practice among libraries, archives, and museums to claim copyright on scanned versions of public domain photos and texts. Contract law can still apply to use of such images, however. LibraryLaw Blog also has a good posting on this topic.
